Should any Customs Service or other governmental authority order
or require cargo to be discharged or unloaded from container for
inspection or examination, or should any Customs Service or other
governmental authority impound, seize or detain cargo or a loaded
container for any reason, all charges and expenses, including any
applicable unloading, reloading, storage, demurrage, detention or
container per diem charges, will be for the account of the cargo.
Moreover, Carrier will NOT assume or accept any risk or liability
for the actions or omissions of such Customs Services, governmental
authorities or their agents.
	
Except as otherwise provided in the individual NRAs, rates are not
inclusive or U.S. Customs-related charges, such as, but not limited
to, Customs clearance assessments, USDA/FDA/U.S. customs examination,
X-Ray, insurance, storage, forwarding charges, drayage, demurrage,
bonded warehousing, formal customs entry, if required, and/or tax
and duties.  Any such accrued U.S. Customs-related charges shall
be at the expense of the Shipment, Cargo or Merchant.
