When cargo, which is liable by its nature to lose weight or
substance by attrition, evaporation, etc. during transportation,
or while in the possession of Carrier, is accepted by Carrier for
transportation service, Carrier shall be responsible ONLY for the
the delivery of the proper number of packages, bales, cartons,
etc. at destination. No claims for overcharge or overpaid freight
charges will be accepted or honored on the basis of the landed
weight or measurement at destination on such cargo.
